Here are my college football rankings for the games played after Week 3. The system is a simplified +/- point system based on margins of victories, controlling for runaway scores. Victories against (lower division) FCS teams are not rewarded at all, while losses to FCS teams are punished.
Teams with the same number of points are considered "tied" and I've listed them alphabetically. We'll let this literally "play out" over the season.
My system makes no distinction between "Power 5" conference teams and "G5" teams. They're all FBS to me. However, it's interesting that this time of the year is when most non-conference games are played. This is where we often see Power 5 teams beat up G5 teams by wide margins.
This is reflected in the rankings to a greater degree than I would have anticipated. 28 of the 30 teams are in the Power 5. Here's the list.
