This week, I've abbreviated my college football rankings from all 131 FBS teams to the more conventional Top 25. I've also added a twist to my ranking, which previously relied only on a team's dominance over their schedule.
Now they are ranked on their dominance in FBS competition (as before) but also on their Comparative Performance Index which looks at their won-loss record, strength of schedule, and opponent's strength of schedule.
Beside each team is their overall record and in parentheses their record against FBS teams.
Clemson 7-0 (6-0)
Georgia 7-0 (6-0)
Ole Miss 7-0 (6-0)
TCU 6-0 (5-0)
