Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.
LESSON 115
Today's Review Lessons:
(99) Salvation is my only function here. (ACIM, W-115.1:1)
(100) My part is essential to God’s plan for salvation. (ACIM, W-115.2:1)
It's important to remember that "salvation and forgiveness are the same." (ACIM, W-99.1:1)
There's really nothing to be saved from, and nothing to forgive. As eternal beings, nothing another person says or does can harm us. To realize this, and to really believe it, is the key to saving "my" world and "the" world.
A world free of grief and grievances - a world that's saved - is an impossibility if I myself am not freed of these things. And if others don't see my freedom, how can they know they can be free?
