Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.
Today's review:
(79) Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved. (ACIM, W-90.1:1)
(80) Let me recognize that my problems have been solved. (ACIM, W-90.3:1)
I love the comments under Lesson 79:
⁵The problem is a grievance; the solution is a miracle. ⁶And I invite the solution to come to me through my forgiveness of the grievance, and my welcome of the miracle that takes its place. (ACIM, W-90.1:5-6)
As I'm going through this course, I'm also studying Neville Goddard, and today's lessons correspond with his book At Your Command.
The problem, the grievance, resides in consciousness. The solution also resides in consciousness. If you have something you don't want, or are in a situation you don't want, you can forgive it by letting it go and thinking of it no more. And you do this by focusing on what you do want instead.
Quoting Jesus, Goddard says that you can't serve two masters. You can either serve the problem, or you can serve what you desire. And the Course says you can harbor your grievances,or you can expect miracles.
Forgiving the grievance will produce a change in feeling, which will allow you to see the miracles that are always present.
