Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.
Today's review:
(71) Only God’s plan for salvation will work. (ACIM, W-86.1:1)
(72) Holding grievances is an attack on God’s plan for salvation. (ACIM, W-86.3:1)
In part through this course and in part through other studies and experiences, I'm realizing that the external world is a reflection of or (as Neville Goddard said) an out-picturing of my consciousness. Gaylon McDowell in his Truth Transforms podcast of April 6, 2022 clarifies that this is not a reflection of my spiritual wholeness.
Spiritual wholeness is God; my consciousness is my awareness of God but falls short of wholeness. The gap between my consciousness and my wholeness is where grievances, guilt, and anxiety reside as they make me feel less than whole.
Salvation closes the gap.
