Life is but a dream

LESSON 101

God’s Will for me is perfect happiness. (ACIM, W-101)

Today's lesson emphasizes that there is no sin.

A dog can't climb trees. The son of a dog won't be able to climb trees either, because the son of a dog can only be a dog. God cannot sin; therefore the Son of God can't sin.

You might be thinking, "But we do sin, don't we?"

I've had dreams where I fly. They start with me making longer and longer leaps until I just keep self-propelling myself without touching the ground.

I'm a human being, I can't fly, but I did.

In dreams.

Likewise, I have sinned only in dreams, because this life is a dream. The times I fly are in dreams within this dream.

Whatever we do isn't real, because we aren't this dream-body, we are Spirit, just like God, from God, part of the family of God.

And we can discover and have perfect happiness even in this dream state, if we remember who we really are.
