Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.
The light has come. (ACIM, W-75)
Yesterday, I had to remind myself more than I wanted that "There is no Will but God's," or that my will and God's will must be in alignment. Upon waking this morning and doing the getting-up routines I had to keep reminding myself that God's will and my will is that I feel good, even though I had made a commitment for today to do something I would rather not. So, I was hoping for a "day brightening" lesson.
And I got it. The "grievance" of feeling obligated to do what I committed to doing today is gone. To "forgive" is to "fore give," to give in front of, or before, receiving. It is to love.
To "love" something is to enjoy it, to enjoy its very presence.
And light brings warmth, understanding, and vision.
