Are you your body?

God is the light in which I see. (ACIM, W-44)

Today's lesson is telling us two things.

1. God is light. Maybe that's not all that God is, but God is light.

2. This light comes from within you.

But what is "you?" Are you your body? As I remarked two days ago, Julian Jaynes's friend saw his own body on the hospital bed from the perspective of the ceiling.

Light is energy, God is energy, and so YOU are energy, and you aren't always in your body, or don't have to be.

I wonder if light, energy, consciousness, spirit, God, you, me, are all the same thing.
