Mr. Obama thinks Mr. Trump needs more flair

As I write, Mr. Obama is at a campaign rally on tv condemning Mr. Trump for not having paid taxes. Mr. Obama says that Mr. Trump thinks we the taxpayers are suckers. A quick Google search tells me that it is Democrats who are saying that Mr. Trump thinks that. I don't see evidence that Mr. Trump actually said it.

Isn't Trump bad enough on his own, without having to making stuff up about him?

Let's be clear...

• even if you think taxes are good & necessary and are the "price we pay for civilization"...
• even if you think higher-income people should pay proportionally more in taxes...
• and even if you are angered by the various breaks and loopholes that rich people with vast complicated business enterprises take advantage of, and think they should be abolished...

... there is still nothing immoral in not paying more in taxes than is required by law. Change the law, but don't condemn people for not doing what isn't required.
