What a super Super Bowl!
I think the upset wasn't so much the victory, but holding the Patriots to 14 points. I don't think a defense ever played above and beyond expectations.
Before this, the greatest game I ever saw was Super Bowl 25, the Giants victory over the Bills. This surpasses it.
This kind of reduces the disappointment of my Packers losing to the Giants. The Giants rose to the occasion against the Cowboys, Packers and Patriots. Beating one of these teams may be an "any given Sunday," victory, but beating the three all in a row when it counts most, means you're the best.
