Competition for the Dollar

Money may make trade more efficient, saving time and creating wealth that allows people to engage in leisure and learning. But even as money creates more freedom of choice for some, it burdens and oppresses others. And while money may help develop and sustain civilization, government debasement of money is also the reason civilizations fall. It happened to the Roman Empire. It may be happening here.
