[N]early five years later, the Antiwar Right was proven correct on all counts about the war. Many former war supporters have now changed their minds, but that doesn't explain why so many on the Right supported the war to begin with, a war so clearly against the national interest.There were a variety of reasons, I'm sure. But one rule of thumb is that if the "Left" opposes something, the Right vehemently supports it, and if the Left supports something, the Right condemns it vociferously.
