The Sovereign Individual

Scott Haley wrote to me about this blog by one Cheryl Marie, We the People Have the Power.org:
The mission of our new governing paradigm, Grassroots Governance, is to: peacefully deplete the present archaic, systemically-corrupted United States Government of its consenting participants; educate The People about asserting their Sovereign Birthright of governing themselves; elevate the ideals of ethics to establish Justice and insure domestic Tranquility; and design a 21st Century national governance to provide for the common defense and international Tranquility.

Her position is that the Articles of Confederation is still in effect, and that individuals are sovereign. Her views may be weird (or maybe not) but they're fascinating. She also has a radio show, and I listened to one from a couple weeks ago on the "general post-office." You can use the post-office and assert your soveriegnty at the same time, by filling out a change-of-address form like this (click image to enlarge):

According to Cheryl Marie, to accept a mail-box or street address on your property, or to even have a door-knocker, is an invitation for government to knock and then enter.

I know there are many people with their own unique theories of the law. Like conspiracy theories, I wish I had the time to study them more fully. But when they come my way I like to at least look at them. If nothing else, the fresh perspective is worthwhile.
