It looks like New York Governor George Pataki is the most prominent American elected official that attended the Bilderberg Conference this past weekend in Canada.
I recall seeing a list of attendees at the conference two years ago. It included Sen. John Edwards, who was later hand-picked (by whom?) as John Kerry's running mate in the Presidential election.
Makes me wonder if a similar opportunity is awaiting Pataki.
