I just heard a brief news item that a Secret Service agent who had been part of Bush's detail, and is now working for the HUD Secretary, was carjacked and shot tonight in the District.
My first thought is that this agent knew too much. About, for instance, Bush's drinking. Or something else.
Yes, it may be a ridiculous thought. But we live in ridiculous times.
