Legislation forcing theatres to post the "real" start times of movies?
Sheesh, lady. If you don't like the ads, don't sit through them. There are two possible reasons why ads are run in movie theaters. The first is, for extra profit. The second (like the expensive food prices) is because this is a needed revenue stream to keep the theatre going.
Neither reason is criminal, but actual criminality or wrongdoing has never stopped our busy-body legislators before.
No doubt this petty tyrant will find herself in Congress someday, where she'll probably legislate on easier ways to get the last remaining toothpaste out of the tube.

Aww, she's a copycat. This boneheaded legislation for the sake of legislation was hatched in my little blue state months ago by Rep Andrew Fleischman (D-West Hartford, CT)
