Law aside, I still feel moral revulsion. The resources are there for her care, and there are family members willing to care for her. Yes, trials were held to determine her wishes, but such "findings of fact" do not indeed establish fact.
Something is always fishy about determining what a person "would have wanted." I wish the law was more clear about the definition of "artificial life support" and distinguished feeding tubes from, say, oxygen support.
Further proof that laws - pieces of paper - do not by themselves ensure justice or the right thing.
