Mike Nifong's name will become a word: an unethical and/or race-baiting prosecutor will be a nifong; to nifong somebody is to bring false charges and suppress exculpatory evidence. Unfortunately, many federal and state prosecutors are nifongs. And while Nifong's case involved an alleged black "victim" and white perpetrators, all too often the targets of nifonging are black.
