Why Fear the Dear Leader?

Because he launched seven test missiles over the past day, ABC News profiled North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il. I really don't understand the big deal. He's trying to preserve his power, and is presenting a show of strength to deter American aggression. He obviously wouldn't want to do anything that would destroy his power or cut off his supply of cognac. I have no idea why the USA and UN are so "concerned." Oh, yes, I forgot; letting a country actually have the power to defend itself is the new definition of "security threat."
