  1. Since you're waxing Jungian, I'll put in my $0.02. It's always struck me as odd that so many dream themes are culturally universal: showing up in a public place and discovering that you're naked or otherwise inappropriately dressed; remembering a class that you've forgotten to attend all semester on the day of the final; etc. Now, the funny thing is, I've had both dreams repeatedly, and started having them long before I'd ever heard that they were common to everyone.

    What's more, all my life, I've had dreams where I walk into a dark room and the light switch doesn't work, or the bulb is extremely dim. And I didn't even know, until Gretchen Ross of the Green Lantern recently told me, that this was also a universal theme.
