Supporting and participating in the USA's middle east policies invites terrorism. And no crackdown, no better "security" system will stop it. (The first rule of any "system" is that it can be beat.)
If Australia pulls out of its pointless partnership with the USA, it won't be hit. If it doesn't, then anticipate a disaster sometime next year.
