The Futility of Labels

My latest at LewRockwell. Kind of ironic since my last article at the Partial Observer pigeonholed a lot of libertarian and pseudo-libertarian movements. But maybe the longer we insist of defining "libertarian" precisely, the less likely the word will be corrupted.

  1. It is indeed ironic, although both articles are good and useful.

Given the various sects of libertarianism these days, it's good for people to see differences so that they don't lump all of us together. I sure as heck don't want to be associated with the hawkish pro-war crowd!

I'm also glad to see a detailed effort to show how the meanings of various labels have changed over the years here in America.
