The AIDS Myth

The biggest scandal in this story of Christine Maggiore, reported by Vin Suprynowicz, is how many non-AIDS cases in Africa are reported as AIDS cases. This is as racist a policy as I can imagine. It steers scarce government dollars for public health to a relatively non-threatening disease. It builds the myth that Africans/blacks are oversexed and irresponsible. And it allows the UN to under-report deaths due to malaria to hide the scandal of the international DDT ban, not to mention other pre-mature deaths due to poverty, which are attributed to AIDS.

It is stories like this that make me wish that I and all other libertarians were delusional nutcases. Because if this is true, there are hundreds if not thousands of UN, US, and African government officials who are knowingly guilty of crimes against humanity.
