Losing the popular vote by 3.5 million votes. Losing the majority of states. Losing an overwhelming majority of the land mass. Relying on the statistical impossibility of provisional ballots in Ohio running 9:1 in your favor.
It's over. A President Kerry would be even less legitimate than President Bush in 2000.
Am I happy about it? No. But the better we face reality, the better off we'll be.
