The John Henry Irony

Isn't it ironic that Red Sox great Ted Williams, who never won a World Series, had a son named John Henry Williams, the guy who embarrassed his family and all of America by having his father's corpse frozen for cloning purposes (and who himself died of leukemia at the age of 35 on March 7 this past year). While the name of the current owner of the Red Sox, 2004 World Series Champions - first Red Sox championship in 86 years - happens to be named John Henry?

It's all pretty weird. We can be assured that there wasn't a conspiracy theory behind it. But it is still pretty weird.

Strange stuff happens in this world, people. Let's not deny it.
