Regarding the September 7 quote by Jefferson Davis. That might be an, ahem, “red flag” to many because it was made by the President of the Confederacy. I don’t want any misunderstanding as to the nature of the site, which has no racial or ethnic superiority agenda. The purpose of the Quote of the Day is to link to the article in which the quote is found. And that purpose is often to get people to find out new perspectives, or discover new information, that they wouldn’t have otherwise discovered. Or, it might be just really good. Or funny.
