Tenth Anniversary of the Repeal of Federal Speed Limits

Fred Foldvary reminds us that it's been ten years since Congress repealed the national speed limit.

One of the few times that the government actually repealed an unconstitutional law. Greater freedom resulted in hundreds of millions of hours saved, billions in economic growth, and even saved lives.

Why can't the Republican Party be more like that today?

  1. Although California bumped its limit up to 65mph, I was sorely disappointed in the Red Rocker's failure to take advantage of his new potential single, "I can't drive 65." It woulda been a hit, with the only cost being a 2-second studio overdub.
