Angels Lead White Sox 1-0

A fine pitching performance by Jose Contreras was wasted as the Sox lost 3-2. I don't normally follow baseball closely, but it seems to me that the upside is that Contreras went eight innings. The fewer relievers are needed in a game, the stronger the team is for the next game.
