In the late 1980's there was a book called "Cvlture Made Stvpid."
It noted that Christianity completely eradicated one sin from the earth: the sale of indulgences. Well, yes, it was a sin that would never have existed without Christianity in the first place, but still...
What reminded me of this was a "success" in Iraq, noted by Mike Tuggle here.
